FOR FAMILIES
When a parent who lives far away opens an email. When they use an AI chat. When they type their details into a site nobody recognises. Legacy Tools makes small Chrome extensions a family can install for them.
Not a security setup anyone has to learn. Just one check, before a link opens, before text is pasted, before details are typed in.
WHAT WORRIES YOU
None of it says anything about the person. In a hurry, on a screen you know well, it happens to anyone.
The link is clicked before "is this invoice real?" has finished forming.
A name and a phone number get pasted straight into an AI chat.
An address and a card number are about to go into a site nobody recognises.
A photo or a document goes out carrying more than what is visible in it.
An email gets sent late at night, on impulse.
OUR POSITION
Legacy Tools is not a way to watch what a parent does.
It does not declare anything dangerous on its own, and it forbids nothing.
Before sending. Before opening. Before pasting. At that moment, it adds a little more to go on.
The decision stays with the person making it.
START HERE
There is no need to install all eight. Begin with whichever moment worries you, one at a time.

Safe Mail Link Check See what it does →
Replaces email addresses, phone numbers and the like with other strings, inside the field itself.
Safe Privacy Mask See what it does →

The remaining three tools, not listed here, are on the full tool list.
SETUP
Nobody has to be asked to learn security settings. The one-time preparation can be done for them.
Add it to Chrome
Press "Add to Chrome" on the Chrome Web Store. No account, no payment.
Set only what that tool needs
The terms to hide, the night hours, the mail sites to cover. Just the items that one tool asks for, decided once in its settings.
After that, the same browser as always
You do not have to sit beside them each time. The check appears in the moment it is needed.
Some tools, Site Operator Check among them, only run when the toolbar icon is pressed. It is worth going through that one together once.
Installing it once does not make anything permanently safe. When the services in use change, or the worry does, go back over the settings.
BOUNDARIES
What they cover is the moment just before a decision: noticing, once.
Detection and display both happen inside each extension. Nothing you type and no file is sent anywhere in order to be checked.

WHICH ONE
Choose by what worries you, not by the product name.
Pick the one thing you find yourself worrying about. You can add another later, or remove it at any time.
